Question:

Does Sarah Palin believe in evolution?

She wants creationism taught in the schools. Does this mean that she doesn't believe in evolution? Wouldn't it be just a wee bit embarrassing if this frontier mama ended up in the White House? Don't forget, it's not just a question of McCain living or dying, but also if he is incapacitated by an illness, she would take over.

  1. "She wants creationism taught in the schools. Does this mean that she doesn't believe in evolution?" YEAH! People who believe in creation can not believe in evolution.... Why would it be embarrassing? There have been plenty of Presidents and Vice Presidents that have believed in creation.. Isn't Obama a Christian? Then he too believes in Creation.. So I don't know what the problem is.........

  2. she actually wants evolution and creationism to be taught at schools and then people can make up their own minds. personally i don't feel this is such a big deal id rather have a school that taught maths and english and other important subjects well than worry abt whether or not evolution or creationism was taught there

  3. she does not want evolution to be taught in school

  4. Sarah wants both sides of this unproven question to be taught. What is wrong with that.

  5. Senator McCain took a l-o-n-g shot in this case.  Sarah Palin is completely unknown.  If they are elected, and he gets sick, woe unto us--- Toni D.

  6. Her as president, now thats a scary thought.

  7. Both sides of this requires faith! What is wrong with showing both sides to the issue. Do not forget evolution is only a theory same as creationism. Both require faith to believe.

  8. No.  Her father, a science teacher, says he is baffled by her calls to teach creationism in schools.

  9. They might as well teach the science of alchemy and astrology along with creationism.

TT, hahahah evolution is not just a "theory" as gravity is not just a "theory."

  10. Nope she doesn't. All believers of creationism do not believe in evolution. This charade of offering other alternatives is bogus. If other alternatives is really the reason, then Chinese and Indian philosophies have their versions of how this world was created. Given that they constitute 40% of the planet why not include those as well. Creationists can preach how much they want in their respective churches about the origin of life and stuff. Just keep the serious stuff for school.

  11. I DONT KNOW.LET ME ASK MY GORILLA BROTHER ABOUT THAT!

  12. No she does not believe in "evolution" as a theory, especially when it offers no proof. She promotes that "intelligent design" be discussed along side evolution as a viable theory because it certainly makes more sense scientifically than the impossible or improbable "big bang" theory that does not explain DNA, RNA and the intelligence it takes to send replicating cells to heal injuries to the body and rebuild cells. Clearly evolution does not answer the most important questions of the day.  Also we can now measure the end of the universe which proves intelligent design because we know the beginning and end of our own universe and all it consists of.  There is also the issue that only humans have a spirit, and no other life form does. Evolution does not address this important fact.  We must consider ID as a possibility. It offers more substance and proof than the theory of evolution.

  13. Anyone who wants creationism taught in the schools does not understand biological science.  This is of great concern since the far right still seems to view calling the Earth flat as a subject for debate.

Meanwhile we are falling further and further behind in the biological and other sciences compared to other Industrialized Nations.
