I mean...what changes has Obama and Biden made that you can remember...?

I know of McCains...(foreign relations improvement with Vietnam, stood up against Republican Good Old Boy network, supported the Surge when it wasn't popular)

and Sarah Palin...

-Went up against an Republican Incumbant on the basis of change..

-Fired the State Attonery General for fostering poltical corruption..

-cut property taxes

-saved the state money...actually she put money in the State Savings Account...

She has done more than Democratic Presidential nominee... !!! for Christ sakes...

and I'm Dem too...(but an honest one)

  1. I have watched since yesterday the attacks on Gov. Palin. She went after corruption in her own party and won. She appears to be a decent and honest person. Perhaps that is what the left cannot relate to. You never hear the left complain and Harry Reid and his children that are on the Government payroll that work in his Senate office or about his son that is a lobbyist that does business with Senator Reid. You never hear them complain about Hunter Biden, that is a lobbist, that does business with his father Sen Biden. Nor do you hear about this.

For :The Wise One" above. The population of Alaska is 626,425 and Delaware is 783,600

Additional: The thing that trolls don't get like the one below is that their profile always has a start up date of their accounts.

  2. I have more respect for her than the other three.  Biden has been wrong on every decision that he has made for this country.  The only thing he is good for is lining his pockets and his families.  Obama is a Marxist trouble maker and is worse than Hitler.

  3. Sorry, Asker. She's hasn't done diddly squat. Just ask the Alaskans themselves (from http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/...

But let's be honest here. Her resume is as thin as the meat in a vending machine sandwich. I'm thinking being mayor of Wasilla doesn't qualify her. And she's less than two years into her first term as governor. Except for her high-profile gas pipeline legislation -- which I like a lot -- she doesn't have much to show. Oil taxes? Most of that work was done by the legislature. Ethics? Ditto. And her role in killing the much-touted Bridge to Nowhere? Talk about coming in after the battle is over and bayoneting the wounded.

And there's a growing sense that the government isn't running all that well, that all that's keeping the wheels from coming off is that 25,000 state employees show up for work every day.

The long and short of it is this: We're not sure she's a competent governor of Alaska. And yet McCain, who is no spring chicken, has decided she's the best choice to replace him as president if he should win and then fall afoul of the Grim Reaper.

    *************

Oh, and that popularity rating she has? It is due to her being able to give $1200 rebates to all of the citizens of Alaska, thanks to her legislature's oil tax actions. SHE got the credit, darling, but the legislature did the actual work.

Stop the ignorance! Do your own research and then vote Obama!

  4. No, but of the three of them, she is the only one currently being investigated for abuse of power..........  wow and to think an investigation of that nature after only 20 months on the job.

and as a Liberal Christian, I feel I need to inform you that Christ had nothing to do with your question, so why don't you leave his name out of it.

  5. She's also a Bush lackey--much like McCain.

  6. Say what you want about Palin, but she's spunky. She completely changed Republican politics in Alaska by fighting against those corrupt establishment politicians. She's definitely a reformer and she has quite an independent streak. That wins her some major points in my book. She and McCain are very well suited because they're both willing to go against their own parties when necessary. I like that!

  7. Apparently you are also willing to take the Lord's name in vain to try to win votes.

Just like Palin is willing to drive wedge issues (abortion/g**s) to win votes.

  8. Yes such as in cleaning up Alaskan political corruption and leading 800,000 Alaskans (which is 800,000 more people than Biden and Obama have led - together!).....and Obama's stint as a community agitator/fomenter passing out brochures is not relevant!

  9. very credible, Im looking forward to voting this fall now.

  10. h**l no! who cares about credibility for running a small town? there is nothing in Alaska..people..has anyone been in Alaska??? hello...??? please..Maybe she is smart so what? that does not mean anything! I mean look at Obama, wow..He is so incredibly smart, cool, calm under pressure. He is for change and he knows what he is talking about...This man worked hard to get where he is..gosh..does that not count???? African Americans have had it so bad thru out the century! This is big..it's time for real change people...

  11. Whether Palin was a good pick or not is not exactly relevant. What is relevant is the nature of John McCain’s decision making in this instance.

Let that simmer with you for a moment. At the first sign of trouble, McCain abandoned his game plan and went instead with a high risk maneuver that thus far seems to have some pay off, but is coming with a high cost.

What does that say about how he’ll behave in the realm of foreign policy? Will he abandon any semblance of a safe and tested plan in favor of a high risk move that will put us and our families in danger? What about terrorism? In a McCain administration, I think that this indicates that instead of pursuing a smart and tough anti-terrorism policy, he would engage in a reckless and reactionary response that would only make us less safe and likely put us in another war.

We can discuss the lack of qualifications for Sarah Palin, and there are plenty, but the biggest problem is that it indicates that John McCain’s temperament and judgment is far below the standards necessary to serve in the Oval Office.

For a man who is 72 years old and has had four bouts with cancer to have chosen someone so completely unqualified to become president is shockingly irresponsible. Suddenly, McCain’s age and health become central issues in the campaign, as does his judgment.

In choosing this featherweight, McCain passed over Tom Ridge, a decorated combat hero, a Cabinet secretary and the former two-term governor of the large, complex state of Pennsylvania.

He passed over Mitt Romney, who ran a big state, Massachusetts; a big company, Bain Capital; and a big event, the Olympics.

He passed over Kay Bailey Hutchison, the Texas senator who is knowledgeable about the military, good on television, and — obviously — a woman.

He passed over Joe Lieberman, his best friend in the Senate and fellow Iraq Kool-Aid drinker.

He passed over former congressman, trade negotiator and budget director Rob Portman.

And he also passed over Mike Huckabee, the governor of Arkansas.

For months, the McCainiacs have said they will run on his judgment and experience. In his first presidential decision, John McCain has shown he is willing to endanger his country, potentially leaving it in the hands of someone who simply has no business being a heartbeat away from the most powerful, complicated, difficult job in human history.

  12. This is her record?

The incumbent was using the office for personal gain....JUST LIKE PALIN is doing...she is being investigated for it.

She's done 4 things?? Wow, you're right, that IS progress...lol

Obama have sponsored and co-sponsored thosuands of bills, some which have brought protective armor to our troops some which have made sure we will care for our military when they return from war....Palin doesn't even know what is going on in Iraq.

  13. No

"McCain has made a mockery out of his campaign's longtime contention that Barack Obama is too dangerously inexperienced to be commander in chief. Now, the Democratic ticket boasts 40 years of national experience (four years for Obama and 36 years for Joseph Biden of Delaware), while the Republican ticket has 26 (McCain’s four yeasr in the House and 22 in the Senate

I think we’re going to have to examine our tag line, ‘dangerously inexperienced,’” a top McCain official said wryly."
