  1. Nobama!

Yes, McCain and Palin will put the country back on track.

Real change and not the audacity of inexperience.

  2. :] She sounds good to me.

  3. I didn't realize McCain was campaigning on change. In fact, I'm pretty sure it is the president and not the VP that calls the shots. Please enlighten me, what sort of 'change' is McCain running on, or are you relying on McCain dying of a heart attack for your change? And for that matter, what sort of change has Palin promised? Since when does inexperience equate to change?

And Palin sure isn't free from ties to oil and mining companies. In fact, it seems the biggest thing she has in common with McCain. Scratch that, it is one thing Bush, McCain and Palin all have in common.

  4. here's the bottom line...liberals will hate her to new heights!..she's 'pro' everything they preach against!..Now Obama finds himself running with one of Washingtons "old guard" they've been preaching against..and McCain has the type person who fits the bill on what they say Washington needs!....Look like this one came around and bit'em in the ***!

  5. No. The only reason McCain chose her was because he is trying to manipulate voters and get women who are on the fence about Obama to swing his way.  He tried to steal the limelight from the Democrats during the convention by having his people release rumors about the VP pick before she was announce.  She was a last minute choice and I honestly believe that McCain (like the rest of America) knows nothing about her and her positions.  She was simply choosen because her name looks good on the ballot.  This sounds like the same old politics to me.  The only thing that has CHANGED is the gender.

  6. Obama went on and on and on about change, then chose a good old boy Washington insider.  He should make his motto,"Change I can deceive you with."

  7. If you listen to Obamas speech the other night, his change is the same old liberal big government the Dems have been trying to create for the last 40's.

Palins change is actually cleaning out the scum from both parties and cleaning up government.

  8. I don't know about that, but she represents change better than Obama's running mate.

I'm a member of the NRA, and I'm all for gun control.  Why do leftists assume that everyone who supports the second amendment thinks that we should hand five guns to ever newborn?

  9. The only experience in change she has is changing diapers!

  10. She changed how politics were done in alaska by attacking corrupt politicians with ties to big oil, republican politicians

She changed how she got around by selling the gubernatoral jet to save the residents of alaska money, unlike some people who changed their jet to an homage to themselves

She created change through actions, not just words or by voting present

  11. Sarah Palin is a brilliant choice for Vice President. You want someone who can actually bring change to Washington? Then Mrs. Palin is without doubt, hesitation or reservation the best choice.

She is a courageous woman with strong convictions who was able to transform the political landscape within her own party in one of the most staunchly conservative states in the US. She took on a corrupt sitting governor, the attorney general and a corrupt oil industry bureaucracy and beat them all! That's what I call a true agent of change!

BTW, as governer of Alaska, she also has experience as commander in chief of her state's national guard, and she has 9 years of executive experience. I would vote for her if she were running for president.

  12. Actually yes and no.  she represents change however its a change that I am not sure America wants to see.  She supports drilling in wildlands, is a card carrying member of the NRA which means she will not support gun control even though the State of Alaska has no gangs for her to have any opinion on.  She is religios and Pro-Life so it would be harder for pregnant women to have abortions if needed

  13. yep...she has done things that Obama dreams of doing .... she went against her OWN party on corruption...when if EVER obama has done the same in the highly corrupt Democrat party uh?...I say she is more for change than obama is...she has DONE it!

  14. Yeah, you got that right CHANGE is exactly what will happen in the White House if McCain is elected.  Palin, was selected after one meeting in February what was McCain thinking.. (I'm thinking alzheimers)

Will she change diapers, change clothes, change rules for beauty pageants, change laws for the NRA, Change the Roe vs. Wade decision who knows....Palin will definitely change the way politics is in this country, where now your average soccer moms with no real experience (no offense) can now run for office of President.

Well, god forbid if something happens to McCain if elected, Palin will be the one who receives the call at 3:00 a.m. with a baby crying for his bottle and to get his diaper changes.....Yep, that's real change in Washington.....there you have it.

McCain only validated Obama's message of Change We Can Believe In.

  15. She would make a vice president and, for all I know, vice presidents do not make the ultimate decisions concerning anything in America, as with many other countries. What-ever promise she may make will be over-shadowed by McCain's Laa-Laa-Parada. Would have been better, probably, if it was otherwise, Sarah as the commander-in-chief, McCain as the vice.

  16. Loran, such a sexist remark coming from a woman. You must be an Obama supporter.

McCain picked a candidate who is not afraid to take on their own party and clean up the corruption. She was approached by the Republican Party to run for Governor. She beat the incumbent in the Primaries and beat a former Governor in the General Election.

She's not afraid to cut pork-barrel spending and refuse money from Washington for those ridiculous do nothing projects.

She's not afraid to take on the oil companies. She threatened to pull Exxon's leases if they didn't start using them for what they were intended: to drill for oil. Exxon will begin drilling for oil.

That is definitely the kind of CHANGE that is needed. McCain was smart in his choice. He doesn't need someone who is versed in foreign affairs, he already has that.

Picking a candidate is about balancing out what you can bring with what your choice of running mate can bring. Isn't that what Obama said when he picked a Washington insider for his running mate? Balance.

And, being a Governor, I think she brings just a little bit more experience than Obama has, without being tainted by the "Washington scene". If she were a man, would there even be this big debate?

Obama and his supporters are just a little PO'd that McCain's choice stole the thunder from Obama, and will also make this race one that will go down in history no matter who is elected President.

  17. She's a real, ordinary person!

He husband has a job, she has kids, does her own shopping - far more in touch with most of us than anyone else in politics (especially Queen Hillary).
