no. keep your guns you cry babies, i don't wanna take them away. my problem is not that she loves her bible (as i do), my problem is that she believes solving the war in Iraq means praying! are small town Americans parading their children after they've gone through a huge ordeal???

Seriously, if you are from Alaska you are pretty much a lifetime member of the NRA. This is the only place when leaving your house (even in a largely populated city) you have to worry about getting stomped my a moose or mauled by a bear. h**l, right now I have a moose right outside of my window drinking from my birdbath, and they are violent. We almost hit one bigger than our van the other day. I live by Anchorage, she is from Wasilla (about 40 miles away) which has even more wildlife. You kind of have to know how to use a gun and own one just in case you have a murderous bear outside of your house.

She represents my small town, where we (women) are not afraid to talk about the bible and have the rights to own a gun.  There are many chauvinists, (both male and female) who are sexist and yes, they brought Hillary down.

Some just cannot stand intelligent, honest and women who are fierce enough in their convictions to go up against the establishment when it is corrupt.

She is a real reformer, and does not make promises she cannot keep.

Nope...it's her stance on the issues that is alarming. I don't think 'small town' America will be 'proud' for her to represent them...once they hear everything about her. I live in small town America...in the Deep South Bible Belt....and already people are questioning why in the world McCain would pick this woman.

Palin's Pastor, Kalnins, has preached that critics of President Bush will be banished to h**l; questioned whether people who voted for Sen. John Kerry in 2004 would be accepted to heaven; charged that the 9/11 terrorist attacks and war in Iraq were part of a war "contending for your faith;" and said that Jesus "operated from that position of war mode."

Yes.  This is what terrifies the left.  The don't fit the stereotype.

That is the problem.  Palin is a strong woman, that formed her own beliefs and made a strong commitment to them.  Since they don't fit the stereotype the left has come unhinged.

"A fish rots from the head down"  Somebody at the top is drumming out instructions to mutilate this poor woman.  The backlash is that it's making women everywhere furious.  They don't get it.
