I'm just watching her speech online now and she sounds like she's got a Minnesotan accent. Do Alaskan's have that accent?

  6. haha! she sure does! "dontchaknow"

  7. I think it is just a Northwestern accent that varies slightly by state. People from Mass. sound similar to those from Maine, etc.

  8. its possible the accent is similar considering the close proximaty to Canada and  that frozen tundra  area takes a certain person.

  9. You betcha!

  10. Her parents are from Idaho so I would assume she picked up some of their accent.

  11. I was thinking Michigan as well.  Kind of a bizzare mix between the two.

  12. It was straight out of the movie Fargo! (which stunk by the way).  I'm not sure if Alaskan's have that accent.

  13. that is actually one of the first things I noticed about her last night when I was watching the speech.  I have always been good at picking up accents almost immediately and I could tell that she definitely has a north minnesotan one. :D

  14. I live in St. Paul, MN and I would say yes, she definitely has an accent.  I don't know anyone here who quite has that twang. I'm guessing rural North Dakota.
