I think so. I like the show kind of, but it just seems weird because it's somewhat saying that your parent will support you through that. A lot of parents won't, and sometimes your friends might not even want to be around you. Same with other people.

they arent tryin to make it seem fun and exciting to be a teen parent, what they r doing is showing you how much a pregnancy can effect your life. it can really s***w up all of your future plans and goals, and ur whole life! thats pretty much the point of the show.

I don't think it looks/sounds fun...they're just trying to "educate" without preaching or getting too into the trails and tribulations for ratings reasons etc.

sort of. i always think of how nice it would be to have your own baby and raise it with the baby's father but then i think about how hard it will be to finish school and have a good future then i just forget about it

Absolutely not. The Secret Life shows a lot of the hardships of being a teenage parent, and I personally think it would try to discourage teen pregnancy.

That show is completely dumb. I think it sends the wrong message to girls, saying it's cool to get knocked up by the school jock, AND your parents will stop what their doing to support you. REAL TALK, girls that get pregnant get kicked out of the house or end up on Maury or the Steve Wilkos show.

I dont think so.It shows how upset she is and the tough decisions she has to make.There are a lot of glamorousized pregnancies in the media though.It used to be those dogs that could fit in a purse and now the hip accessory is a baby.

No, but that's what Jamie Lynn Spear's pregnancy did. A bunch of girls that were young went out and got pregnant because she did and made it look so easy.

Amy's just looks like it sucks to be her now that she's pregnant since she's so young.

The thing with that show is that it shows all the problems girls go through, it's not all glamor. She had to deal with telling her parents, having the kids at school find out, and problems with the baby's father.

I personally don't understand why Hollywood has such an influence on teens because I would never get pregnant because Angelina Jolie has kids and she's old enough and has the money to support the baby and doesn't live with her parents.
