Does Sirius work in Cancun?

I'm going on vacation to the Riviera Maya (South of Cancun) next week and was thinking of bringing my Sirius stiletto so I can listen to it by the pool. I'm just not sure if the Sirius satellite coverage goes down that far. I've heard of people in the caribean being able to pick up reception. Anyone with any knowledge about this please let me know.

It normally does.  Sometimes the atmospheric conditions inhibit some channels.  I have XM that works just fine.  You can expect to get one or two bars less than normal.

Make sure you have a good view to the southern sky and you have the best available portable antenna for your unit.  Keep it stationary.

I live about 3 hours east of Cancun on the gulf coast and my sirius works fine in both the house and the car.
