Im getting 10 dollars allowance each week and im saving for an Xbox 360 and i want to know if a sonic the hedgehog is out for xbox 360

There are several installments of Sonic already availible on Xbox 360.

Sonic 1, on Xbox arcade is the classic game of Sonic from way back when. The same version as the one played on the Sega Dreamcast.

Sonic 2, on Xbox arcade is the same game, with the same concept, only this one is online enabled.

And finally, the retail version of Sonic!

Yes the original Sonic is out for the 360 under the xbox live arcade. You can also get Sonic2.

Yeah there is but it's one of the worst sonic games ever. If you want to play Sonic, buy a Wii or DS.
