  1. Yes, you can carry it in your carry-on bag.  (It doesn't matter which airline you're flying since it is the TSA that makes these rules).  But you will not have a problem with bringing it on board.

  2. I always carry my hair straightener in whatever I'm traveling with, whether it be checked bag or carry on. Never had any trouble. I can't think of any reason why they would care if you had a hair straightening iron.

On the other hand if you're taking anything like Frizz Ease or a liquid to aid in keeping your hair straight, it needs to be put in less than a 3 oz container and put in a quart size baggie with your other liquids like hair spray, etc. But as I said, I regularly travel with both a straightening iron and a liquid to help straighten my hair and haven't had any issues.

    No need to worry!

  3. the airline does NOT control what you bring on the airplane

the TSA does (not the airline)

    for more info go to

    http://www.tsa.gov

there it will tell whats allow and whats not allowed

  4. It is container size that they are weird about, not what's in them. Mail it home.
