Does Soy Milk have benefits?

I am lactose-intolerant, therefore drink Soy Milk because it does not bother my stomach. I heard recently that Soy Milk causes your b*****s to grow. I recently lost 30lbs and went from a CC to a B and want my b***s back. I don't want them for any reason other than the fact that they made me appear thinner than I really was. It's always sad to see them go. Does anyone know if this is just a myth or is it the truth?

  1. Soy milk does not cause b*****s to grow. The myth arose because soy contains phytoestrogens which mimic human estrogen in the body-- they have a weak hormone like effect. I know you may feel uncomfortable with your body image, we all have our insecurities, but it's better to accept yourself for who you are. Don't beat yourself up about it. :)

    Yes, soy milk has lots of benefits. It's a perfect protein. It's low in saturated fat. It often has added vitamins and minerals. It's a natural source of Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. It may help reduce blood cholesterol. And it comes in a variety of flavours. (Tastes good too!) ;D

  4. All people beyond the stage of breastfeeding are supposed to naturally be lactose intolerant.

    Soy milk is just bean water.  It does not make b*****s grow.  It's just a bean, nothing special.  It's a myth.  What people keep hearing about is the estrogen in soy beans.  There is estrogen in all kinds of plants, not just soybeans -- it is plant estrogen -- which is not compatible with humans, just because we are not plants.

    If you just lost 30 pounds (assuming you were 30lbs overweight), then of course your b*****s will shrink to some degree, along with many other areas of your body.  You cannot get the fat back around your b*****s and not other parts of your body.  You could do weight training and work on growing the muscles that are behind your b*****s -- this will help them become larger.
