Does Sprint IP-830w works in USA?

Hello,

I was just wondering if Samsung Ip-830w works in USA with Sprint? Has anyone actually tried it? I would Like to Upgrade to This phone but need to be sure it would work on sprint in USA! before i buy one on ebay. Please advise me! Thanks

  1. Nope. Only Sprint phones can be activated on the network.

    I take customer care calls for them.


  2. It appears that the Samsung IP-830W is an exclusive model to Sprint. Whenever you purchase a device, please make certain the the electronic serial number is clear and not active on another account or in fraudulent status. It is recommended that you purchase the device directly from an authorized dealer or you could buy yourself an expensive paperweight.
