Does Sprint Phone Insurance cover water damage?

I was at a baseball game and i dropped my phone and tried to grab it before it fell and i swatted it like five feet away into a cup of sprite. it was a lucky shot. i have the 7 dollar a month or whatever sprint phone insurance. if i take it in to get a replacement will they cover it?

Yes, its covered, but you still have to pay your deductible on it.

I did the same thing and I have been with Sprint fro 10 years. To my experience you can throw it off a cliff and they will replace it, if you have the insurance....they will have you pay 50.00 and they can put that on your account, then they will ship you a new phone, if they are out of that same model, then you get an upgrade!  Hope this was helpful

yup, they fixed quite a few of my broken phones, but their other services are so horrible i suggest switching to verizon after your 2 year contract
