StarCraft is Blizzard's real-time strategy game of galactic conflict between three different species on the edge of known space. As the military leader for your people, you must gather the resources you need to raise a military force capable of dominating your enemies.

This is a card game. It's not a sport by any stretch of the imagination nor is their any physical agility involved.

I am afriaid its popularity only concentrates in south korea and sparsely over the rest of the world, and would not qualify as an olympic E-sport

No. I don't think it will ever be.

I should also mention, that my brother LOVES playing it and he would be totally for it as an Olympic event. Hah. But honestly, it doesn't have a chance.
