  1. of course he has a chance and it will be a good fight there is no reason for it not to be, catch it live at http://livetvnetwork.net

  2. Any fighter has a chance against any opposition, whether it be small chances or big chances. Anything can happen in the ring. Oscar could possibly suffer an injury which would make him ineffective. He could so up in subpar shape. These are just a few things that can make seemingly impossible things become possible. If there was no chance at all, then there would be no point in having the match. They should just simply give Oscar the "W" in that case.

Look at the James "Buster" Douglas. Not many thought he would beat Mike Tyson, but Douglas showed us otherwise.

Anyway, with all that said, I still think De La Hoya will breeze by Steve Forbes. The better skill and caliber fighting experience to go along with natural size, is in Oscar's favor, which would make it difficult for me to see an upset. Anything can happen, but I just don't see Forbes leaving with a victory.

  3. anything can happen but if Forbes win it would be a huge upset, my prediction is that delahoya is gonna dominate the whole match and but i don't think it will end in a KO...hopefully we see Oscars jab the whole match this time....

  4. No chance, not exciting.

    Proof?  Oscar- Strum.

Oscar can't win a big fight and he should leave boxing to those who can.

  5. Anything can happen in the boxing ring, which means that yes, Steve Forbes does have a chance at beating Oscar De La Hoya.  However, I don't see that happening because Oscar is simply bigger, stronger, faster, and the better fighter overall.  Forbes lost to Grady Brewer on "The Contender" finale because Brewer was just so much bigger and stronger than him.  Forbes was the better fighter, but he lost because of the size disadvantage.  If Brewer could beat Forbes at 150 pounds, then I'm pretty confident in saying that Oscar could beat Forbes at that weight pretty easily.

As for if I think the match will be exciting- it may be, but I think that it will be a dominant, and lopsided win for Oscar; that doesn't mean that it won't be exciting though...  Oscar has stated himself on the "Countdown" show that this fight is an opportunity for him to work on certain things, so I think that he will purposefully draw this fight out so that he can put into effect some of the things that he has been working on in the gym with Floyd Mayweather, Sr., particularly the jab.  I also don't think that Forbes will get stopped because he is a slick and crafty veteran fighter who knows how to survive, and he has never been stopped or knocked down.  I think that Oscar will utilize the jab A LOT in this fight, and he will win by a lopsided unanimous decision.  If he does get the stoppage, I think that it will be late in the fight.

  6. It would be a good fight to watch because de la hoya is going to dominate and I dun see how steve could start a chance
