My friend said that Taco Bell's meat is lower than Grade D. Which means the meat is lower than dog food! Is this true? Sources would help =]

  1. I heard that too

  2. I'm sorry, but beef is not graded that way. So, your friend is either uninformed or pulling your leg.

  3. i use to work in restaurant yrs ago..so I'm not sure if it still stands. But it is delivered to them in powder form and they add water to it.UGH!

Because our restaurant offered to buy a big quantity of hamburger off them they didn't have it.

  5. Who cares what "grade" it is. As long as it's safe and tastes good! But just remember you aren't getting that 99 cent burrito without them cutting costs somehow...

  6. I heard that too.That's why it's so cheap!

  7. of course no

  8. Although the FDA has turned their back to some things in the past, it is highly unlikely that they would allow Taco Bell to have Grade D meat for their tacos.  This is most probably a rumor or joke. So relax; you can still eat at Taco Bell without feeling like a dog.

Edit: I apologize, there isn't even a grade "D", there is only a grade A, B, and C, so whoever said that is out of their mind.

  9. I don't know how true it is but my College biology teacher told us that same thing.
