  1. I've never seen a Target with an optical department, so I assume you're not talking about prescription glasses. The only glasses Target sells, to my knowledge, are non-prescription sunglasses and those magnifying reading glasses that you can buy in different strengths. If you're talking about either of these, no, Target won't repair them. If, by some chance, they really are prescription glasses from Target, go back and see what they can do.

Edit: So, it seems from the other answer that there are Target optical departments. It's odd that I've never seen a Target with one or any advertising for it. Must not be in my part of the country.

  2. Depends on what type of warranty they have. If the frame is not actually broken and can be straightened out, then you may have to pay for the lens you lost. Most warranties need to have the damaged product back.

Target optical is owned by the same company that owns lenscrafters. I would imagine they have the same type of warranty, which is they will "replace your broken eyeglasses within 1 year for 1/2 the current retail price". In my opinion that is a crappy warranty. Target and others like it promote deals, but in reality they are no less expensive than most independent optical shops, where you will generally get better service in this instance. If you get them fixed at Target, I'd be interested to know how far off I am, if I am.
