Does Tenerife have sharks ?

I'm going this summer and because it's on the Atlantic I'm paranoid, can you get sharks around there ?

Yes but so does Cornwall.   I don't know where you live but the UK is in the Atlantic as well.   You don't often see them close to the shore.   I really wouldn't worry about it - you can always just swim in the nearest pool and just sunbathe at the beach.   Have a great holiday.
