Does Tequila contain traces of Calcium Oxalates?

Yeah it's a technical one.. Anyone ever come across research about left over caclium-oxalate residue in tequila?

  1. oxalates are in a lot of plants, calcium does precipitate it.

    apparently it come with the agave, & should be left behind in the residues to be discarded after crushing & filtering the plant. it should not be found in the bottled distillate.
