Question:

Does The Music Work Well With The Poem In This Video?

I tried using my own narrative for the video but the poem is such a tongue-twister that i screwed up about a dozen tries. Finally, I said to h**l with it and added the background music. My question is, does this work well together? Does the music distract from the reading of the poem? Would it work better simply as just a poem without the music?

Here is the You Tube Video:

Please make suggestions and be honest. Thank you.

  1. At 1:45 in the video I think the music should change but I really like the whole video before then.

    PS: Nice poem

  2. I know the composer but can't think of it right now - must sober up a bit first - I play that (on the piano) when I'm sad...

Loved your poem, the music fits and wouldn't matter in the grand scheme of things anyway.  As one put it, it is your art; you do what you want with it, (or something like that.) Hmm...it looks like you have a lot of punctuation.

    LOL

  3. well, it's almost time to go cut an ear off there , fella, lol. you know what i have said before, and it stays the same. it's your art and you can do with it what you want. if i say, " oh, i don't like that music, i like this music", wouldn't that then become 'not' your art?

  4. Love the poem. The music seems to set the tone; mellow leaning towards somber. The critters do see things we don't/won't see. If you find out what the music is, please post it. It's really nice.

Have you posted your 'The Karma Of Judgement Day'  poem?
