  1. You must attach the mount to your studs in the wall.  Just putting screws in the drywall won't give you enough strength.

    I know the mount says it can support up to 60" screens, but I'd be leery of putting anything bigger than 50" on the wall myself.

  3. Yes, it will work fine and it will be safe.  It looks like a standard mount.

    The most important thing to make the TV safe, is to make sure you attach the mount to wall very securely.  It might even be good to have someone do it for you if you are not sure how to do it.  It needs to be attached to the wall studs with proper hardware.
