  1. Here are my comments on the cage -

The cage is very spacious and ventilated but is seems to be more designed for rats and guinea pigs than syrian hamsters.

    The reasons being -

The gaps between the wires are too big and the hamster will escape.

There is no exercise wheel in the cage which is a compulsory requirement for all hamster cages.

There are not enough tubes and tunnels for your hamster to play around with.

The feeding station is at a height that can be accessed only by jumping on the tube which is not right for hamsters.

So I would not find it suitable for a syrian hamster.

I personally have a Habitrail Playground for my two dwarf hamsters. They are easy to clean, the plastic resists chewing by the hamsters and the cage allows flexibility for addition of tubes and tunnels and mazes as and when required. The cage also looks very good and colorful to look at when displayed in the room.

You can go to www.habitrail.com and check for options. They even have a provision online of designing your own habitrail cage.

    Hope this helps!!!!

  2. That is a really good cage for your little baby!

  3. absolutely  it will really like it

  4. that will do just fine!!!! i have a cage like that for my rat   oh but you might want to make sure the bars are not too far  apart cause it could get stuck and hurt itself or it could get out

    hope this helps

  5. syrian hamsters can squeeze though bars like that, i would get a plastic tank

  6. Perfect !

I don't really have any other suggestions.

It's a really good cage and would work for my rats too lol!!

  7. no not at all! this cage is for rats and guinea pigs. the tubes are too too big and the bars of the cage are wide enough for it to slip through. try this
