Teams just coming in from the Second division beat the Big Names, doesn't that just make things lovely? Watching underdogs winning, isn't that what footy is all [Portion] about? The unpredictability of A Goal.

Sigh* This is a good Weekend. I can tell I'm Gonna sleep good tonight.

  1. @ECP: 2006/2007 the title was decided on the last day with Real Madrid making a comeback in the last minutes to tie with Barca in the number of point and won on head to head results. Sevilla were also contenders until the week before.

    Also la liga produced Villarreal, a small town team which went close into reaching the CL final and will compete in it again this year (and they didn't need Russian money to do so).

    Sevilla, Valencia, and Atleti are also strong contenders this year ( except Atletico. I'm just being nice ;) )

  2. @Ethically Challenged Privateer - Long Live Premiership? What are you? Living in the 1500's?

    Back to the question. Serie A and La Liga are the two most competitive leagues and certainly the best leagues in the world. EPL was so boring that I don't watch it anymore. Their commentators are also so biased and annoying that it's better to watch the game with mute on. In Serie A there are like 7 teams that can win the scudetto and the numbers in La Liga are growing as well whereas in the EPL, the number is decreasing with only Chelsea and Man U for the title.

  3. haha a nice thought for sure, and um i'd like to get carried away myslf :D but sth tells me its still madrid and barca battling it out at the top..but we'll see.

  4. marco,Arsenal finished? what you talkin about, all i said was we need signings.

    as for Milan...ha ha there well and truly finished. it doesn't show how strong the other teams are in seria 'A' just becouse they beat milan, but it's just shows milan are utterly s**+it.  and dont put me under "english" fans.

    lower teams dont beat the top 4 becouse,there too good, the top 4 are away ahead of the rest of the "top" guns in europe. i mean even man city thumped milan 3-0 in pre-season

  5. Eff the EPL and their stupid english fans. Marky D, last week u considered Arsenal finished. Fans who talk like u Arsenal majority did last week are pathetic.

  6. Hahahahahaha! Serie A is hilariously boring. The only reason there is a challenge is because the two giants of the league, Juve and Milan, got ripped apart for match fixing. No wonder it has competition, the big clubs lose so more people will bet on the games.

    La Liga isn't really competitive either. Face it, only one of two teams will win it, Barce or Madrid. How's that competitive? In the EPL however, the top 3 teams were separated by 4 points, and it was decided on the last day.

    Deal with it, the reign of La Liga has ended, and so has Serie A.

    Long live the Premiership!!!

  7. EPL is boring most of the time. Serie A is more unpredicatble and exciting. :D

  8. Exactly, you can't see that in other leagues really.  Certainly not in the EPL haha.  Derby County had absolutely no chance against any of the teams last season.  Did they even win any games?

    Serie A in my opinion is definitely the most competitive league, very closely followed by La Liga.

    EPL is the least competitive, there are always only the same three or four teams that are title contenders.

  9. I agree with you Stefy that the weaker teams in Serie A and La Liga are stronger than those from the premier league.I do think that teams from lower leagues in Spain and Italy try to pass the ball(whereas the English clubs play long ball more often than not).

    @Freshy:

    "EPL is the least competitive, there are always only the same three or four teams that are title contenders."

    Oh and how many teams are title contenders in Italy,Freshy?Is your math so poor that you think Inter,Milan,Juventus and Roma make up a number more than 4.Or perhaps Real Madrid and Barcelona(and Valencia who have an outside chance)?Or is it just your blind hypocrisy and bias that's showing here.

    @Ⱥɳα ɱɐⱤí₳

    The title had to be decided on the last day because of Madrid incompetence and sheer inability to win games when it mattered.And don't get me started on Barca.
