Does Thunder Mountain Have Big Drops?

Question

I'm going to disneyland and I havent been in a long time and i love big rides, drops and turns but i've never been to Thunder Mountain and when i went on Goliath a couple years ago i decided never to go on rides again but now i got over my fear but i'm still being careful about what rides i go on and does thunder mountain have big drops? Reply as soon as possible

BTMR is fast with lots of twists & turns, but no BIG DROPS.  It's one of my favorite Disney rides.

No. Thunder Mountain does not a big drops. This is a fairly mild ride compared to Space Mountain. In fact, no rides in Disneyland has big drops except Splash Mountain with a 50 ft drop at the end. Nothing at Disneyland cannot compare to the intensity of the Goliath. ^_^ have fun

I'm terrified of roller coasters...Thunder mountain isn't frightening. There's like two drops and it feels like the coaster has a breaking system that slows the coaster down for people like us:)

No, the drops are not big. Its a nice ride for someone new to rides and getting over fears. Have fun ^-^

No, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad only has medium to small drops. It is a very fast ride, with quick turns and speedy drops, but they aren't big at all.

Take it from someone who hates roller coasters-Big Thunder Mountain does NOT have big drops.  I think that they remodeled it a couple of years ago and it is not scary.  If you want bigger thrills go on Splash Mountain, Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, or Rockin Roller Coaster at MGM.

I have been on Thunder Mountain many, many times.  It is fast, takes sharp turns, but it is in no way scary.  The drops are about a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10, but they are great.  I hate wild rides, but this is wonderful.
