Does Tiger Woods Use Titleist Ball With Nike Logo?

Does Tiger us a titleist pro-v1x or pro-v1 with a Nike logo on it? Is there a link or anything? I just can't seem to think that the best player in the game wouldn't use the best ball in the game.

  1. Tiger uses Cleveland irons ping woods and uses bridgestone golf balls. His putter is made by callaway.

  2. Cody is soooo wrong. He doesn't use titleist irons.  He uses Nike blades. He uses a Titleist Putter made by the man Scotty Cameron. His ball is the only ball with more spin than the ProV1. It just looses about 6 yards off the tee which he isn't worried about.

  3. I guess that would explain why he plays his beloved, familiar Titleist blades with the Nike swoosh on them too. BWAHAHAHAHA!

The following, however, is true (or was) which may explain where you got this bit of "painted on swoosh" nonsense: He uses a Ping putter grip on his Cameron putter. He just blacks out the Ping logo. Why he hasn't bothered to paint on a Titleist or Cameron or even a swoosh logo, I have no idea. :-)

  4. Nike One platinum

    as stated

  5. y would you do that?

  6. He uses a nike ball. do u even watch the tourney? u can tell. he uses a titleist putter and titlesist irons. when he first turned pro he signed two mega deals, one with nike and one with titleist.

Actually he doesn;t use titleist or nike they are made by some japanese guy and like Miura irons with nike stamped on th cuz he prefers them. i only meant to say titleist putter not irons.

  7. Yeah, because of course it makes sense why Titleist would make a Pro V1 with a swoosh on it. Way to go buddy. Brilliant question.

  8. no does gm amd chrysler share logos.   you must be black too

  9. Tiger Plays different balls in different tournaments. In Augusta at The Masters he played the NIKE ONE Black. This US open he has been playing Platinum. But these aren't any special ball as noted before they are the same balls you can buy in the store. As for the "best" ball being a titleist well, if you went with what the best player in the world plays you would play a Nike ball.  If you played the same ball as Justin Rose, Retief Goosen, Natalie Gulbis, John Daly, and Sergio Garcia you would be playing a Taylormade ball. If you wanted to use the same ball as Stewart Appleby or Fred Couples who in his late 40s can still pound drives 300+ yards cosistently then you would be playing a Bridgestone ball. The funny thing about amateur golfers is that the belief is consistenly single minded about equipment. A ball is a ball. The balls that the pros play are called triple composition. So they are made of a titanium core, a middle "buffer" or "feel" layer and A urethane cover. Hoe the cover is rendered is what makes it soft "spin" or hard "distance" but all the pros play triple composition balls. Phil Mickelson plays a Callaway. It's all the same stuff basically with a different logo. But I'll tell you ONE Black is a good ball. I've played it and it's a good ball. I'd play it in place of a V1-x. I'd play a B330 in place of either. They are all good balls. And for an amateur, you would notice the difference between these balls and a $10/doz ball immediately. Chek out these links and compare for yourself. You probably won't see very much difference between each companies' $50/doz balls.

See for yourself. These are the best balls they make. Any of these would make you feel good after hitting one. I play the hard distance versions of these like the black and the 330e and the v1x cause I have too much backspin off the tee and around the greens. I also prefer to feel my putts so I use the hard versions. But the best thing to do is educate yourself before saying that one ball is better than the other.

  10. Tiger uses the Nike One platinum prototype ball made specially for him.

  11. Are you getting paid by Titleist?
