  1. time doesn't exist, what is it that we sense as the passing of time? I'm glad you asked. Alright, let's talk about human experience for a minute. Humans perceive the passage of time as a continuous, contiguous series of linear experiences. We experience time as being continuous. It doesn't appear to stop, slow down, or speed up at any point. We experience it as contiguous. We don't jump over pieces of time. Skipping forward or back to the points that interest us. Humans also experience time as being linear. We can only experience things in a linear fashion. Moving continuously in one direction, without the ability to reverse direction.

  2. Does length move? Does height move? No, we move through or along them. Time is the same but one way only.

  3. Have you been watching lost?

That Island is ******* crazy! Some kind of time warp thingy type thingy!!!

  4. we have a constantly updating present (no past-no future) where we walk on on do our part and walk off stage.  time is not linear only constantly changing from present to another present 'scene' depending on the viewer.  before humans existed time did not exist. sounds heavy but to me makes more sense than some of the so-called science based answers i read.

  5. Time is a concept used to measure the spaces between one event and another.

It is relative to the observer (for one person enjoying themselves it can fly by but for another it can appear to drag because they are in work or what ever)

But it is a concept and not a physical thing so it does not move as such but does appear to move as the human brain processes everything that happens to it in sequence

  6. about some answer above u can not tell if time increases or decreases because the speed of thought would also increase or decrease

  7. yes..time IS movement or change..its direction is governed by the tendency of things to move toward states of increasing disorder ..spontaneously..it's called entropy. B4 the universe as we know it existed time was 'curled up'..particles/antiparticles continually winked in and out of existence..no net time..btw if you propose 'imaginary time' ie where (3space) space time has a metric = x^2+y^2+z^2+c^2t^2=0 you can actually solve the singularity infinite density problem not only for the origin of the universe but also in the interior of black holes where the boundary discontinuities do not exist..

  8. Time is always moving on
