Does Traffic camara obeserve only one side of traffic or it also does for other side (opposite traffic) ?

Just wondering what is the sight limit for the traffic light cameras at junctions ? do they snap upto 50 metres or longer ? Does one camara snaps for one stop line or it can also snap for other stop line on opposite road side or can also snaps for pedestrain crossing nearby junctions ? in short, how many stop lines it can sense ?

as above and the next generation can work out your average speed so last minute braking wont work

Depends on the camera and location. Some see only one direction, some see both and some cameras are positioned to see whole junction (4 lanes)
