  1. there are many lessons.....

    1. abusive boyfriends are great

    2. not having any self-esteem will get you far

  2. well its a love story so i dont really know i see the lesson learned as being as nothing is impossible and everything is possible love, confusion, everything from emotion to being.

  3. Um, with all respect, if you don't know what the lesson is, then I guess you didn't learn it.

How about:  you'll never go broke writing vampire books for teenaged girls?

  4. No. There is no deep hidden meaning in the Twilight series. Even the author admits they are total fluff.

  5. Love knows no bounds

  6. Resist temptation.

Do not have s*x before marriage.

And lose your brain for a few hours every day.

They're books that are for entertainment. I don't think there is much else going on...

  7. love concers all, love knows no danger, the most unlikely people can make it work,

  8. Unfortunately, I don't have the interview, but Smeyer has said herself that there is no lesson or moral in her books. Nice eh? Of course that doesn't stop you from making one up. I'd say something about how you can love someone no matter what, or just because someone is a vampire doesn't mean you can't be friends with them. I'll look for the interview though.

eta:looks like someone already mentioned it. Still, what kind of an author writes a book with out thinking of that stuff?

  9. Maybe the theme was what someone would go through to find love and make it last forever. In Bella's case - literally.

  10. That some books were meant to be a trilogy.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist.

No, I agree with everyone else. It's about love, and the idea that true love can overcome any boundry.

I used to also see sacrifice as a theme (because the only way to be with Edward was for her to sacrifice her friendship with Jacob.) But then I read Breaking Dawn.

  11. No. Mugglecast asked Stephenie this question and she actually said no herself. She said she just wrote the book for entertainment purposes only.

  12. the theme is kinda "man .vs. man" because of edwards "vampireness". and it has a lot of lessons, but i'm sure someone else will tell you some.

  13. Stephenie Meyer said her books NEVER have any morals, but fans find some in them.

I Didn't find any morals in the books, i only liked it because it entertained me.
