I was just wondering if anyone knew if UC Davis requires a bachelor's degree before you even apply, like some other veterinarian universities or can you apply without having a bacelor's degree.

  1. No. It is a regular (albiet somewhat prestigious) university which has a new crop of freshman undergrads each and every semester.

  2. I don't know exactly what your question is. UC Davis isn't just for graduate school, they have MANY bachelor's programs, so of course you don't need one in order to apply. If you are referring to just the Veterinary Medicine program, then the answer is no, you don't necessarily need one before you apply.

    You DO need:

--A minimum grade point average of 2.50

--Veterinary Experience (minimum of 180 hours at application)

    --3 Letters of Evaluation

    --Personal Statement

--Graduate Record Examination (GRE) - must be taken no later than October 1 of the year you apply.

    --Interview

--108 quarter units (72 semester units) at an accredited college.

The link below should give you the rest of the information you need on their VM program. Good luck!
