Does UCSB give credit for passing the AP World History exam?

I got a four, and I'm wondering if they will give me college credit.

Yes they will give you college credit for an introductory history class...that's one less boring class to take freshman year.

UCs generally award credit to sent scores that are 3 & up. UCSB has a nice chart: http://www.catalog.ucsb.edu/2008cat/gene... It looks like you'd be eligible for 8 units (8 quarters) of elective credits. Enough credits may lead to earlier registration, but I'm not completely sure about that...You could always try e-mailing or calling the school for more information.
