Does UPS deliver to major cities first and then to surrounding suburbs?

I would just like to know around what time I should be expecting to receive my package. I live in Chicago, and I assume that my package will be delivered earlier than in the surrounding suburbs. I know what day to expect my package, however I do not know what time it will arrive. My package is scheduled to arrive on 8/26/2008. So, if anyone knows what time UPS usually delivers packages, especially in major cities, please let me know. Thank You.

Owing to the number of vans they have, whether you live in Cicero or on lakeshore Blvd, all packages are treated the same

All packages are delivered the same.  There are thousands of UPS trucks and warehouses in the US.  There really is no way to tell what time packages are delivered.  I live in a small town in Indiana and packages usually are delivered in the mornings and the drivers pick up packages in the afternoons.  I know this b/c a UPS driver picks up at my work every day.

They are treated all the same. The only packages that come first are the over night packages. If you have a tracking number you can call ups directly and ask them about the driver or his schedule route.
