I'm flying to see my husband who is active duty Army. Does US Airways waive the fees for checked baggage for military dependents?

  1. Unfortunately no.  


  2. The airlines only waive that fee for active duty personnel traveling under orders.

    Dependents aren't the ones traveling under orders.

  3. sometimes. it depends on the check counter clerk. when they ask for an id with your reservations, give them your military and sometimes you get the same deal as military.
