Does US embassy care about undergradaute transcripts when applying for f-1 visa for masters?

I graduated from a university in US with bachelors degree. I now applied for masters now. I wanted to know US embassy will care about my undergraduate grades.

  1. Yes, they care.  Universities may lower their admission standards for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is attracting exorbitant foreign tuition fees.  However, visa issuance is not so flexible.  If your transcripts indicate that you are not a serious/legitimate student, or that you would most likely have too much difficulty in a particular school program, then it is unlikely that you would receive a new F-1 visa.


  2. I think all they are about is that you have applied and been accepted into a masters program and have the documentation to show that.
