  1. Only to the extent that the treaties we have signed (and ratified by the senate) with the other countries of the UN, allow.

  2. No. They can apply pressure or threaten expulsion but the UN is not a political overseer. Study recent Baltic and Central African events to see just how powerless the UN truly is.

  3. Override them,yes.Treaties nullify mational law,which is why the UN should be abolished.
