  1. Pre med is not a major. I went to the site and it states that you may choose any major. The link is below. You should definitely go to UF; its an awesome college.

  2. You aren't so much looking for a "Pre-Med" major as a "Pre-Med" degree program.  The difference: you can major in anything you want and still apply to med school and become a doctor (I know a doctor who majored in Art History!).  The major that will probably give you better knowledge of MCAT subjects (and thus more medically inclined subjects) is Bio-Medical Science.  UF does have a College of Medicine, so I'm sure they have a PMS degree program.  Good luck!  Its a lot of work!

  3. Yes they offer such program. Have a great day!

  4. most schools offer pre-med, pre-law, pre-pharmacy, etc (usually they're known as pre-professional)

but you should know that none of these are majors in and of themselves

most pre med people major in chemistry, biology, biomed, engineering, etc

there are certain requirements for pre-med that also fulfill requirements for these majors, so most students take advantage of that ... plus that way if they dont get into grad school they have a fall back with the other major

And yes UF does offer those programs.. and it's a great research school so you'll also get vital research experience

    Good luck!
