Does Usain Bolt annoy the heck out of you, too?

Honestly? Slowing down before the finish line, pounding his chest and spreading his arms out? Yes, he's an amazing athlete, but he's SO disrespectful- all that slowing down and showboating said "oh im so amazing i don't even need to try, while all of you guys are working your hardest".

Micheal Phelps was screaming and jumping around not once but at least twice during they relay swims. I am sure that doesn't annoy you because your american, but when a Jamaican does it it showboating.

P.S. It's common to slow down when you're running fast and trying to stop or slow down

YA!! he is so cocky after he wins. it is a horible example for younger hopefuls that want to do well in their sports. when you are an olympian you need to realize that people try to copy what you do. i don't think any person let alone an olympian act like that any time of day.

He's one h**l of a runner but he's just highly immature, he will grow up soon though.

When your immature like that, success can be overwhelming and you can act like he did.  happens to some people.

Don't let it bother you, it takes away from his performance a little but nothing I would care about.

gee if you think thats bad did you see the antics of the American sprinters at Sydney 2000.... they were far and away more over the top...

or perhaps its only disrespectful when someone from other than the USA prances around....

He did that in the 100 but not the 200.He was ahead, why waste energy when you don't have to. He has every right to celebrate he is the fastest,he did it twice, never been done before. I smell sour grapes here, not the first time by the way.

Ya he is amazing.. and he for sure is going to be winning a lot of medals. But i do agree with you.. he doesnt need to slow down just cause he can. i mean you are racing, get to the finish line, and then be done.. The other guys are trying as hard as they can, and yet he is looking around pounding his chest and ya.. I get the same feeling. He is good... but is just letting it all go to his head..

Also have to mention something about Phelps.. cause I seen someone say something about him.. The difference between Phelps yelling and screaming is becuase he put his all into the race, and had won by barely anything, of course he is going to be excited, he has every right to cheer. This bolt guy on the other hand, isnt trying and isnt doing anything, he knows he is faster and better, and is just like " ya that's right, im better ". If he was putting his all into, and not gloating about being better than it would be different.
