  1. no actually a big percentage of immigrants  change religion by the third or fourth year they get to the US because of the low Spanish catholic mass in some places and the introduction of new religious ideas they didn't get in their home country.

and please don't use the word  MEXICAN    just say immigrants

    cause it burns

  2. Yes.  There are very very few large organizations that don't actively encourage or support illegal immigration.

  3. Shhhhh, I hear the nurse coming to give you your medication for the nigth. Be a good boy and swallow it. You really need it

  4. No.

Created in the image of the one God and equally endowed with rational souls, all men have the same nature and the same origin. Redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ, all are called to participate in the same divine beatitude: all therefore enjoy an equal dignity.

The Catholic Church supports human rights and humane immigration law, not crime.

However citizens are obliged in conscience not to follow the directives of civil authorities when they are contrary to the demands of the moral order, to the fundamental rights of persons or the teachings of the Gospel.

We must obey God rather than men. (Acts 5:29)

You shall not oppress an alien; you well know how it feels to be an alien, since you were once aliens yourselves in the land of Egypt. (Exodus 23:9)

The émigré Holy Family of Nazareth, fleeing into Egypt, is the archetype of every refugee family. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, living in exile in Egypt to escape the fury of an evil king, are, for all times and all places, the models and protectors of every migrant, alien and refugee of whatever kind who, whether compelled by fear of persecution or by want, is forced to leave his native land, his beloved parents and relatives, his close friends, and to seek a foreign soil. (Exsul Familia, Pope Pius XII, 1952)

"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" (The Statue of Liberty)

Jesus said, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:39)

If we truly believe and live this greatest commandment then we believe that the earth, this country, everything we have are gifts from God, which we are called to share with our less fortunate neighbors.

    With love in Christ.

  5. Yes and for a reason you don't hear in the media. Since the pedophile priest scandal, and over the past 12 years, 47% of Americans have left the Catholic church for other faiths.

The number of illegals that have joined the catholic congregations balances what they lost. The catholic church has a long history of policies that benefit only the church and nothing else.

It should also be no surprise why they ban birth control.

  6. The Vatican does not encourage illegal activity.  Where did you ever get this idea?  The US has plenty of Roman Catholics.  We don't need to "import" any.

  7. Honestly, I don't think the Pope would have spoken to us in such a condescending way, essentially telling us to accept the masses of illegal Mexicans, had the Mexicans been Protestants--or Muslims, or Jews, or Hindus... or whatever.

I think you're right in your suspicion that the Vatican wants to increase its Catholic influence here in the USA via more Mexicans. That just shows how desperate the Catholic Church is for new members (the notoriety caused by the child-raping priests is no doubt contributing to the Catholic Church's current decline).

  8. Is the Catholic Church that desperate in the US? Wow. They are definitely losing clients, eh?

  9. i am sure they do but not openly of course check out the world council of churches objectives
