  1. I don't think they do, we have used Virgin for about 18 months and not had any cold callers.  If you have put your phone number on any application forms or passed it to any other companies they may have sold it.

  2. Virgin don't pass on numbers to other companies.

If I was you I'd call the Vigin Nuiscance Call Bereau on 0800 953 0000

Oh and btw, to the guy above me, I work in the only outsource Virgin Media callcenter in Britian, the rest are official VM buildings and work directly for the company.

  3. Years ago I asked a caller how they got my number. He told me they had ways. Some one sells them have no idea who.

Some thing else you probably have a number that belonged to some one else.they might have passed it on to credit companies etc.

  4. Being on the TPS only reduces the number of telesales calls you get.

It doesn't stop you receiving them.

If you state to these people that you are part of the TPS, and you no longer wish to be called by them, then they are legally bound not to contact you again.

  5. Yes!! And they earn money from it, Virgin have virtually no direct staff and use as many contractors, agency or overseas staff as possible. They make BT look efficient, all this pays for Branson to have his island and to give you a poor service.
