  1. I hope so

  2. no, but many adult applicants for entry level jobs are already on some form of state aide when hired and have little incentive to work hard and frequently enough top get off.  Most are happy with working part time so they do not lose "their money" from the state.  Why pay for insurance with a deductible when you can get no- deductible for free from the state.  Most of them know how much they can earn before their benefits are reduced, so why put forth the effort.

  3. NO! That's just another misconception about Wal-Mart.  Do you really think the largest company in the world has time to fiddle - f**t around with that kind of c**p? I've worked there close to a decade and not ONCE have I ever heard that - and I've worked at more than one store.

What they do however, is when an emergency comes up with an associate, they have a fund set aside to use for them.  The associates also raise money others in need and do special things for Christmas/Thanksgiving holidays for people in need that work there or in the community

  4. In most states yes they do ! I had a friend who worked for Wal-Mart and their policy is to encourage employees especially single moms to apply for state aide whether its health care, food stamps and/or subsidized housing. This in turns saves Wal-mart millions annually in health care costs to cover employees.
