Does Wal Mart let you return opened electronics (ATT Go Phone)?

I have the receipt. I called them and they said there is no re-stocking fee, but that sounds too good to be true. Has anyone done it?...really, no charge to return opened electronics?

  1. Yeah, they definitely do! Though it's best if you give them some reason for returning it (eg "I think it sucks").

  2. yes as long as you still have the reciept

  3. Yep, they sure do. The Go phones can just be sent back to the provider, and walmart gets credit for them so they will gladly take them back. Actually walmart will practically take anything back. If you have the receipt and it is withing the warranty period then they will give you cash. otherwise you will get store credit or even exchange. They do not ever charge restocking fees.

  4. I just returned an XM radio thing that it was totally open.  I had taken the thin all apart and then realized it was too much of a pain to install so I returned it WITH the reciept.  I was surprised at how easy it was.  I thought for sure they were going to make a huge ordeal out of it!
