Does Wales have alot of slums in it?

This is where I'd like to set my book, that I'm going to write. I'd like it to be in Wales, Edinburgh (hope i spelt that right!), Dublin or London, but I need it to be slummish and not a nice close knit community but a rather judging one.

Yes, but I suggest you get off your **** and do some research if this book is not going to be something people vomit onto while reading

No, there are not many slums there, and if you honestly expect people to read (let alone buy) your book don't you think you should've at least visited the place you're setting it in? You appear to know absolutely nothing about the UK or Ireland. Why don't you set your story in a place you know?

Are you American? There is plenty of sub-standard housing there.
