I was just wondering if writing stories that contain lots of dialoge and different character personalities and emotions can help in any way with acting.

  1. Not really. But the more theatre arts  you know and can do, the better actor you will be for understanding what makes drama work. The best thing to do to be a better actor is to act, get into all the plays you can, amateur ones are fine.

  2. Probably not, but it will make you more creative, so if your trying to become a songwriter/singer it may.

  3. i certainlyy think so. i'm 14 yrs old & have been writing since i was 3... i have experience in acting too, but whenever you write you put yourself in the characters shoes, which helps you realize the person's emotions, environment, etc. idk but whenever i write i always put me in the characters shoes and i feel like i'm the character. that's why many people who are into writing are into acting as well.
