Does Xavier nady end all rumors about Barry Bonds?

I mean jesus Richie sexson now Xavier nady i dont think the yanks have much room for any sluggers. It would be pretty cool to see bonds in yankee stadium though. his jerseys would deff sell and he would bring money to the stadium whether people hate him or not.

Until Bonds finds a team and until Hank Steinbrenner closes his pie hole, the rumors will exist. Personally, I would like to see Bonds in prison uniform.

I believe the Yankees have made the decision and Bonds will never be a Yankee.

That's actually a good point, bball. I still would rather have Nady. He's a hustler-type player, and he gives a lot of effort. Bonds may have actually been a better fit, but I guess they didn't want to take the chance on him. Marte - GREAT reliever. When they include Marte (who a lot of people consider the best non-closer reliever in the NL), now I don't care about getting Barry anymore. We improved two areas that needed strengthening, only trading away Ohlendorf and a few prospects (I will be upset if they start becoming All-Stars, but I doubt it).

Not much cap space? The yankees are the bank of the mlb. They can get any player they wanted with all that cash.

Ya i still think bonds would have been way better than nady. The yankees wouldnt have had to trade away any prospects and would have hardly had to pay anything for barry. Can never compare Bonds to Nady
