  1. YaYa is a first name, I believe that it originates from Brazil.


  2. I'm Mexican-American and we use Ya Ya for our grandmothers. Not all Mexicans or Spanish-speakers use it tough. It's usually "abuela", "abuelita" or "abue". Sometimes even "nana", but that's more like "mammy". I think it's used in Greek though, by all Greek-speakers.
