Does Yahoo Group have the function of message board?

Question

I want to create a Yahoo group. It should be a online message board. Every one can read online and post messages.

Besides, I want to close the function that it sends emails to all members once someone post messages. I hate this fucntion.

Could you tell me have to change the settings?

well, a yahoo group really doesn't function like a message board. the only way to prevent posts not going out to e-mail of the members is if each member chooses no mail. owners have the ability to change members mail settings, one at a time. there is no group setting that stops that, plus the member can reset their own mail settings back to getting mail. also, if you have any subscribing as an e-mail only members (those w/o yahoo ID's) they can only post and read from the their e-mail.
