Does Yahoo offer any protection for customers of Yahoo E-Commerce websites?

It seems that if their logo is displayed on the site then they shouldn't allow rogue merchants to defraud customers.

  1. It's up to the consumer to do the "legwork" in finding out if an online virtual store is up and up. I'll list a few links for you so as to save to favorites for future reference.

    From Yahoo Merchant terms of Service quote:

    3.0 YAHOO! ID AND YAHOO! WALLET REQUIREMENT

    In order to use the Service, You must have a valid Yahoo! ID and have agreed to the Yahoo! Terms of Service found at http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/. You must also have a Yahoo! Wallet, which will save Your credit card, billing, and shipping information and other information.

    Having Y!Wallet will save you the time and trouble......look for stores  that display Wallet.....know you will shop in safety.
