Does Yahoo own stock in the MMA?

I havent seen one other major news site give as much exposure to the MMA (mixed martial arts) as Yahoo. Seriously..does Yahoo have some major investments in the sport?

Yes they hold major stock in the UFC. It's called future advertising contracts.  I've noticed that yahoo is majorly upset over the CBS contract with Elite XC so there's plenty of corporate interest on Yahoo's behalf as to what the UFC gets and doesn't get contract wise.  Then again the Fertitta brothers just may have major stock in yahoo let's not forget that Yahoo seeked investors in San Jose ( Silicon Valley ) and it may have been the Fertitta brothers who fronted yahoo most of its money when yahoo was just starting out as a no body search engine...hhhmmm......food for thought.  ( Silent Partners? )

No they don't own stock in MMA.  Does Yahoo own 'stock' in Indiana Jones movie since they featured it so much?  Nope.  MMA pays a fee to yahoo to be featured like Indiana Jones.

Don't know about stock, but Yahoo and UFC have a contract together. Which is why Y! is the only place that you can watch streaming live UFC.
