Also, if anyone's attended a game at the stadium this year, could you give an estimate of how much money one should bring to feed family of three at the ballpark. Thanks in advance.

  1. to your first question, if you mean do they sell individual game tickets like sold on game day, then yes they do.

but i've been there and to feed a family of four was about 45-50 dollars so if you're a family of three you'll need probably just a bit over 30.

    its pretty expensive.

  2. They do sell the individual scorecard/program, yes.  As for food, I'd say just bring at least $50 and you should be OK.  Seriously, prices are insane.  We're talking $10 or so for a hot dog and a soda, though they have these gigantic soda cups that two or three people can share, they're $6 or something like that.  Hey, you're family, right?

I'm figuring the prices will be the same as they were during All-Star Weekend; the only event I've been to up there this year was during that weekend.  However, the price signs seemed permanent, so I don't think the prices are lower for regular games.

I guess they have to pay their players somehow, huh?

    Well, enjoy the game!!

  3. Their "programs" are Yankees Magazines with a scorecard stuck in the middle. I think they're selling for $7 this year and they're a pretty good read, but they're not programs dedicated to the individual game. They only change them up every two weeks.

As far as food goes, for a family of 3, I'd say about $60. Say, hotdog, crackerjacks, soda, and ice cream for all three, throwing in a couple of beers for the adults... Maybe you should add in another couple of bucks. The expense at Yankee Stadium is ridiculous.
