Does Your embassy Pay your Air Ticket home if You were robbed and have no money?

Does anyone know if the USA,Canadian,Australian,British Pay your flight back home if you were mugged and got everything stolen like your passport,all your money and because of that you missed your flight home and your airline doesnt care and says you have to buy a new ticket?You have no one who can help you back home because all your relatives are dead.Would Your embassy help you get home?pay your ticket?and give you a new passport even if you couldnt pay for any of it?atleast give you a loan?

  1. The U.S. Embassy will not pay for your ticket home, however, they will help you contact three possible sources for money back in the U.S. If none of the three people can give you the money for the ticket, the U.S. Embassy will loan you the money to get you back home. You will be given a limited validity passport that only allows you to travel back to the U.S. and you will not be given another passport until you have paid off your loan. So, they will help you, but they will not give you a "free ticket."

  4. Yes they will, it happened to a friend of mine and they paid for him to get home. If you live in an EU country and your country has no embassy in the country you are in you can go to any EU country and they will get you home safe.
