Does ZMA actually work?

One of my co-workers uses it and loves it but I have heard good and bad things, what is your opinion?

If you replace your coworkers pill with a sugar pill that looks the same, he will still continue to love it. Its all in his head. The only studies that show that it works is by the people who made it. It does not work, every real study says its junk
