  3. If you are planning to fly or sail then you will need a passport as you will be required to clear customs and immigration. If you are driving over the boarder from France you wouldn't be required, although so form of ID would be recommended.

    If you live outside of Europe: some conries require that the child should has own pass, but ordinary the child is writen in in parents pass.
